Creative Heart

Well...although I LOVE Christmas it's kind of nice to get back into the routine of things. I'm not loving the busy part so much but I think we all need a little routine or we start to go crazy!

Last night I completed the ten week Breaking Free study I've mentioned several times. I'm so blessed that I can testify that God has drawn me closer to Him and I have allowed Him! What a lesson to be learned in that...God WANTS to lavish us with His love - we simply have to ALLOW Him to do so. I encourage you to begin this year with a heart that softens towards the unbelievable love our Lord has to offer us!

On a different note...lately I've been trying to create some newer items to possibly sell in my Etsy store.
Here are a couple of items I have made so far!
If you are interested in possibly ordering anything let me know either by posting a comment on my blog or reaching me on Facebook! I can make any of these items in custom colors of your choice.
Prices are reasonable!
Dino bath towel for Anderson. I love these towels but not the $20 price in the store so I made my own.

Fleece lined gloves made from a sweater. Tops fold over to protect hands and flip back for convenience.

Vinyl toddler bib (fleece lined). I made this for Anderson. It has a snap so he can't pull it off and is easy to wipe off.

Back of toddler bib is cotton so he is comfortable!

Kindle cover. I made this for my sister for Christmas. Closes with Velcro.

Inside of cover. Kindle sits in straps on the right side and can be stored in the pocket on the left side.

My version of a pillow pet. This is a fleece reindeer pillow for a little girl. I gave this as a gift.

Now...onto my next project...a mother/daughter apron set I will have finished by the end of the week!

  1. I'm not into all that girly stuff but the stuff you showed was cool. I like the gloves they would work great for fishing in the cold if you had a man color and could have half a thumb I would buy a pair.......
