It's a choice
Well...things around here sure are changing! I've decided to completely leave the "school" scene and try focusing on other areas of my life. As you know, teaching is a HUGE passion of mine but has not worked out the best since we moved to Michigan. While it helps that I enjoy living in Michigan this has been a really hard change for me. Last year I substitute taught and it really did not help us in a great way financially so this year I'm increasing my piano students and launching Oliver Designs.
In a strange way I'm releived to not be teaching and in another way I'm terrified because teaching has really been all I've woken up to, either with my own classroom or subbing, for the past six years! YIKES! Sorry I've been so uptight lately Mark and Anderson!
The great thing is that I have a sense of peace! I'm really excited about meeting my new piano students and hope beyond hope that Oliver Designs goes somewhere (currently working on improving my Oliver Designs site for those who are wondering...I'll post the link in a minute)! I guess in times like these I just really praise the Lord. I'll admit the combination of a little hit to my self-esteem to not be teaching along with a lot of change has made me a little "edgy" lately. Even though things seem to be spinning a little I still know that God is in control - He has brought me too far to let me come crashing down!
We have a good who offers faithfulness and His capabilities to us if we will only ask and accept!
And here is a picture of my two boys that I love because they still love me when I'm "edgy!" Ha Ha!
